Quebec fugitive arrested in Spain

All Boivin arrest: Quebec's most wanted fugitive is caught in Spain after international police co-operation in a major organized-crime investigation.

Quebec provincial police say All Boivin, identified by the Bolo Program as Canada’s most wanted fugitive, has been arrested in Spain. Boivin, 36, is from Saguenay, Que., and had been wanted since February 2023. Police say he faces multiple charges tied to alleged crimes in several Quebec cities, including aggravated assault, kidnapping, breaking and entering, and trafficking in drugs and firearms. The Sûreté du Québec said the arrest followed a long investigation involving law enforcement partners in Canada and abroad. Police described the arrest as an important step for public safety and an example of crossborder cooperation in organizedcrime investigations.
