Chatham Financial scales capital markets workflows with OpenAI
Chatham Financial uses OpenAI to speed capital markets workflows and trade checks See how Codex and GPT-5.6 cut review time while keeping human oversight intact
Chatham Financial said it is using OpenAI tools to build internal and clientfacing applications across its capital markets business. The firm, which advises clients on complex financing decisions, is using Codex and GPT5.6 to streamline software development and support governed workflows.
A key example is trade validation, where Chatham says a Codexbuilt application reduced review time from about 30 minutes to under 4 minutes in early testing. The company said it is comparing results against experienced reviewers and plans to expand automation only while keeping human oversight and auditability in place.
Chatham also uses OpenAI in its employeebuilt platform, Chatham Vibes, and in Chatham Onyx, its operating system for assets, debt, and derivatives. The company said these tools help teams research, draft, analyze data, and prepare client materials more efficiently, while experts continue to make the final judgments.
