Robert Lewandowski has agreed to continue his career in Major League Soccer with Chicago Fire FC, which announced the signing on June 29, 2026.
The 37yearold former Barcelona striker will join the club for the next two seasons as a Designated Player. Chicago Fire said the move adds experience and goalscoring ability to a team that is currently third in the Eastern Conference.
Lewandowski’s arrival adds another highprofile European name to MLS, where several former stars such as Thomas Müller, Lionel Messi, Hugo Lloris, and Heungmin Son are also playing.
