Motorcyclist dies after crash with car in Oakville

A motorcyclist died after a collision with a car in Oakville on Tuesday evening, according to Halton police. Police said officers were called to Dundas Street East near Eighth Line at about 6:45 p.m. The crash involved a silver sedan and a motorcycle. Investigators said the car was turning left when it struck the southbound motorcycle. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said there was no information about other injuries, and no arrests have been made. Collision reconstruction investigators are now handling the case, and Dundas Street East remains closed in both directions between Postridge Drive and Eighth Line. Witnesses or anyone with video are being asked to contact police.
