Coinbase and Moov to bring stablecoin infrastructure to community banks

Coinbase stablecoin infrastructure helps 1,000+ banks and credit unions See how Moov and Coinbase power faster payments, settlement, and payouts

Coinbase has partnered with payments platform Moov to provide stablecoin infrastructure for more than 1,000 community banks and credit unions in the United States. The arrangement combines Coinbase’s regulated digital asset services with Moov’s payments network to support stablecoin acceptance, settlement, and realtime funding. The companies said the setup is intended for use cases including consumer payments, merchant payouts, and business settlement, while also giving merchants access to Coinbase custodial accounts. The announcement comes as larger U.S. financial institutions continue testing stablecoinbased payments. Recent moves by banks and nonbank firms suggest broader interest in using digital assets for crossborder transfers and payment processing.
