Google launches governance features for agentic AI

At Google Cloud Next 2026 in Las Vegas, Google introduced a new enterprise platform for agentic AI that includes governance features by default. The Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform is intended to help organisations build, scale, manage, and secure AI agents. A key part of the announcement is that each agent receives a cryptographic identity for tracking and auditing, while an Agent Gateway is designed to oversee how agents interact with enterprise data and systems.
