Several major stocks were moving before the market opened on Thursday, with AstraZeneca, PepsiCo, Salesforce, Stellantis, Levi Strauss, AZZ and Costco among the names in focus. AstraZeneca fell after its heart disease drug Wainua missed a target in a latestage trial. PepsiCo slipped after reporting secondquarter results that were mixed versus analyst expectations, while Salesforce declined following a downgrade from KeyBanc. Stellantis also moved lower after a JPMorgan downgrade, and Levi Strauss dropped after issuing weakerthanexpected thirdquarter guidance. On the upside, AZZ rose after beating earnings and revenue estimates, and Cerebras Systems gained after announcing plans to expand its European data center capacity. Costco declined after reporting slower comparable sales growth in June.
