Chad Kelly threw three touchdown passes as the Toronto Argonauts defeated the Hamilton TigerCats 3722 on Labour Day in Hamilton.
The win moved Toronto to 66 and improved its position in the East Division playoff race. Hamilton fell to 49 and now faces a difficult path to reach the postseason with five games left.
Kelly finished with 319 passing yards, while Hamilton briefly led after a Tre Ford touchdown run before Toronto pulled away. The Argonauts visit Ottawa next, and the TigerCats host Montreal on Sept. 18.
