QuFi launches post-quantum verification platform with Bitcoin testnet proof
QuFi Network verification platform protects assets with post-quantum security Explore how its external layer and uBTC proof of concept cut blockchain overhead
QuFi Network has introduced a verification platform built to help protect digital assets from future quantum computing threats without changing existing blockchain settlement networks.
The system separates transaction verification from settlement, using decentralized nodes and postquantum cryptography to validate transfers before they are recorded on current blockchains.
As part of the launch, QuFi also unveiled uBTC, a proof of concept running on Bitcoin Testnet4. The test version verifies Bitcoin collateral and produces cryptographic proofs that govern asset movement between settlement environments, while final redemptions are completed as standard Bitcoin transactions.
The platform uses three postquantum standards: MLDSA65, SLHDSA and MLKEM1024. QuFi said the external verification layer is meant to reduce the storage, bandwidth and computing burden that can come with adding larger postquantum signatures directly to blockchains.
