Magnificent Seven stocks rise as Treasury yields climb
Magnificent Seven stocks keep beating the market as yields rise and AI demand powers megacap tech. See why investors still favor these leaders now.
The major tech stocks known as the Magnificent Seven have been outperforming the broader market as U.S. Treasury yields move higher. The group, which includes some of the largest companies in the market, has recently reached record highs even as stocks and bonds have both faced pressure.
The Roundhill Magnificent Seven ETF has gained about 5% this month and 15% over the past three months, outpacing the S&P 500. Meta Platforms has led the recent advance after unveiling a new artificial intelligence agent, and other megacap companies have also benefited from investor interest.
Analysts said the companies’ large cash balances, strong revenue growth, and scale may be attracting investors looking for relative stability in a higherrate environment. At the same time, rising yields and concerns about U.S. debt have made Treasurys less appealing to some market participants, while demand tied to artificial intelligence spending has supported major tech names.
