Toronto police say their investigation into the disappearance of a 14yearold girl has ended without criminal charges. The teen, Esther, went missing from North York on May 15 after a family Shabbat dinner. Police, volunteers and relatives searched for her across the city before she was found safe in Etobicoke 13 days later and taken to hospital for assessment. Police had previously said they were looking into whether foul play was involved. A spokesperson later confirmed that no charges would be laid. The family thanked the community for helping search and supporting them during the ordeal.
