Air Canada cuts seasonal U.S. routes as jet fuel prices surge See which cities are affected and what refunds or rebooking options apply.

Air Canada says it will end service earlier than planned on four seasonal routes to U.S. destinations because jet fuel prices have climbed sharply. The affected routes are TorontoSacramento, VancouverRaleigh, TorontoCharleston and MontrealAustin. The airline said the last flights will take place between late July and early September, and that full service on these routes is expected to resume in the summer of 2027. Passengers affected by the changes will be offered alternative travel options or refunds, where applicable. The cutbacks come as airlines face higher fuel costs linked to conflict in the Middle East, and other carriers have also reduced capacity or added surcharges in response to the same pressure.
