OG.com seeks CFTC approval for single-stock perpetual futures

Perpetual stock futures from OG.com may soon bring 24/5 trading to U.S. See how the CFTC filing could reshape derivatives as rivals push similar products.

OG.com, a derivatives platform spun out of Crypto.com, has filed with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to offer perpetual futures tied to individual stocks. The proposed contracts would be cashsettled, have no expiration date, and trade 24 hours a day, five days a week if approved. The filing comes as several firms, including Coinbase, Kraken parent Payward, and Kalshi, have also sought approval for similar products amid broader regulatory activity around tokenized and derivatives markets in the United States.
