Two helicopters collided in the air over Rio de Janeiro on Sunday morning and crashed in the city’s western area, killing all six people aboard, according to firefighters.
Authorities said one of the aircraft came down on a car dealership parking lot, where several electric vehicles were parked. The impact caused a fire that was later put out.
Officials have opened an investigation to determine what caused the collision. Police said a passenger list provided to aviation authorities included American singer and comedian Oliver Tree, but the bodies had not yet been identified.
