Ontario Provincial Police say two people have died after a boating crash on Lake Rosseau in Muskoka, north of Toronto, on Friday night.
Police said the victims were a 32yearold man and a 30yearold woman, both from Toronto. Their bodies were recovered with help from the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit.
Investigators found a heavily damaged boat on a rock ledge after receiving the call around 10:40 p.m. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and police are asking anyone with information to contact Bracebridge OPP.
