Several major stocks moved in premarket trading on Tuesday after companies reported quarterly results or received new business updates.
PayPal rose nearly 3% after firstquarter earnings and revenue beat analyst estimates. AnheuserBusch InBev climbed more than 7% on betterthanexpected quarterly profit and revenue, while Pfizer also edged higher after posting strongerthanexpected results. Intel gained more than 3% after a Bloomberg report said Apple had earlystage talks about using Intel’s chipmaking services.
Other notable movers included Pinterest, which jumped 15% on upbeat guidance and solid firstquarter results, and Palantir, which slipped nearly 3% despite beating expectations. Fidelity National Information Services rose after announcing an artificial intelligence partnership with Anthropic, while Duolingo, Fabrinet, ON Semiconductor and IAC fell after disappointing updates or guidance.
