Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is expected to attend a state dinner next week in Washington for Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The dinner will take place during Xi's visit to meet with President Donald Trump. Huang's attendance adds to signs of his close relationship with Trump, after the two recently pushed back against warnings from some tech leaders about the pace of artificial intelligence development.
AI is expected to be one of the main topics in the TrumpXi meeting. Huang also joined a select group of executives who traveled to China with Trump earlier this year.
