Tupac Shakur murder verdict: Keffe D Davis convicted in the 1996 killing See how jurors weighed the long-running case and what comes next
A jury in Las Vegas has found Duane "Keffe D" Davis guilty of murder in the 1996 killing of Tupac Shakur, concluding the first conviction in a case that has drawn attention for decades.
Prosecutors said Davis helped organize the driveby shooting after a fight involving his nephew earlier that night. The defence argued there was no independent evidence placing him in Las Vegas or in the car used in the shooting.
Jurors reached their verdict after about three hours of deliberation following a weekslong trial. Davis, who is 63, could face life in prison when he is sentenced.
