A 33yearold man has been arrested and charged with firstdegree murder in connection with a fatal tent fire in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, police said on June 17. Emergency crews responded to two burning tents on Energy Court in the early hours of June 11. After the fire was put out, firefighters found a deceased person inside one of the tents. Investigators later said the case was being treated as a homicide. Police identified the victim after a postmortem exam as a 41yearold man from Greater Sudbury. The suspect, Brandon GramlingMcEwan, was taken into custody on Tuesday and is also facing arson and weaponsrelated charges. He was being held for a bail hearing on Wednesday as the investigation continued.
