Toronto police are investigating the death of a man in his early 30s as a homicide after officers found him with injuries inside an apartment building in North York on Sunday morning.
Police said they were called around 8:19 a.m. to reports of a disturbance near Lawrence Avenue W. and William R. Allen Road. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and no one else was reported injured.
Detectives said some people, including the suspect, left a fourthfloor unit before police arrived. Investigators have not released a suspect description, but say the building has extensive video surveillance and the homicide unit has taken over the case. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
