AI adoption leaders Nvidia, Meta, Amazon and SLB top a new S&P 500 study See how public data ranks corporate AI strategy across major U.S. firms

A new study from the AIDriven Enterprise Institute says Nvidia, Meta, Amazon and SLB are among the companies leading the way in adopting artificial intelligence across large U.S. firms. The research examined S&P 500 companies using public data such as earnings call transcripts, job postings and patent applications. It scored companies on four areas: AI literacy, advocacy, orientation and implementation. Nvidia, Meta, Amazon and SLB received the highest overall company scores, with Walmart, AES and NextEra Energy also ranking near the top. The institute said the index is meant to give executives and boards an objective way to compare their AI strategy with peers, though it does not measure financial results from AI use.
