A 22yearold man died after being shot in a park in Montreal’s Villeray neighbourhood on Wednesday night. Police said they responded to reports of gunfire in Turin Park, near de Lanaudière and de Castelnau streets, around 10:30 p.m. Officers found the man with at least one gunshot wound and took him to hospital, where he later died. No arrests have been made, and investigators are asking witnesses or anyone with surveillance video from the area to come forward. Police said the case marks Montreal’s 10th homicide this year.
