It also outperformed the previous Toy Story franchise record set by "Toy Story 4," which opened to $120.9 million in 2019. The strong start came during Father’s Day weekend, with about 11.5 million people seeing the movie, according to EntTelligence. More than a quarter of viewers chose premium largeformat screenings, and IMAX said it generated $11.5 million domestically and $18.4 million globally.
