Guerrero Jr. hits first home run at Rogers Centre in Blue Jays win
Blue Jays beat Orioles as Vladimir Guerrero Jr. ends home run drought Four hits and a wild-card boost make Toronto's latest win worth watching
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit his first home run of the season at Rogers Centre as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Baltimore Orioles 81 on Sunday in Toronto.
Guerrero said he did not feel pressure to end the homerun drought at home, and he also finished with four hits in the game. His homer came during a stretch of three straight Blue Jays home runs, with George Springer and Kazuma Okamoto also going deep.
The win helped Toronto stay in the American League wildcard race, as the Blue Jays remained one game behind the Cleveland Guardians for the final playoff spot.
