Several major stocks and ETFs were lower in premarket trading on Friday, with investors reacting to earnings reports, product delays, and corporate updates. Netflix fell more than 10% after secondquarter results met expectations but failed to satisfy investors. The company reported earnings of 80 cents per share on revenue of $12.56 billion and also said it would reduce the frequency of its engagement reports.
